How vain it is to sit down to write when you haven't stood up to live?
Brother Ali [one of my favorite artists of all-time] just dropped his brand new album, “Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color” … this song is called “Letter to My Countrymen” — Jam. For tour dates, purchase link, merch, etc - go here -

Inside My Headphones: J. Pinder—another NW artist I’ve added to my eardrum rotation. Below are my two favorite jams on his newest album Careless.
A few others off Code Red
Funny story: Went to the University of Oregon with “Wiz” (my duuuude-who posted this photo) & after a few months of being friends with him, he played me a few of his personal mp3s. I was overwhelmingly impressed—his flow had a Tyson jab to it, with that classic New England accent. When ‘I Hate College’ blew the roof off youtube & set the stage for Boston’s Boy to erupt, it took almost a month to realize it wasn’t Wiz rapping with the autotune filter—but his brother—a guy you just may know as Sammy Adams. It’s been pretty amazing being kept up-to-date with the stories of Boston Boy’s swift progression up Hip-Hop’s ladder. Like his brother, he’s a humble dude—I hope they continue to rise, pierce through & shake up the constellation moving forward. Though, to be honest, Bruuuuuz [pictured] is the real G in the family.
